From Tuesday November  5th the Campus Luigi Einaudi will host the seminar "Beyond access to justice. Studying and measuring the quality of the experience of life during the trial timeframe between transnational norms and comparative good practices" held by Professor Daniela Piana from University of Bologna.

 

The program aims providing at the PhD students a deep and broad understanding of the current mainstreaming approach in the justice and rule of law sector. It subsequently offers a case-related analysis of the experience rights’ holders have when they are litigants. Adopting an interactive teaching method PhD students and participants will be involved first into a role game to achieve a teamwork. Tracks followed by each teamwork will be afterward compared through a structured discussion aiming at casting light on missing dimensions in the tools that justice institutions have developed to measure the quality of justice. References to the OECD, the UN, and the UNODC as well as to the European Justice Scoreboard will be used to frame the program in the overall context of the transnational policy paradigm.

 

The seminar is part of the graduated training program proposed by Progetto di Eccellenza 2023-2027.
